Road Pricing Petition - THIS LOOKS REAL

I've checked this out on the net and it appears to be the real deal.
Tell you what screw that for a barrell of Monkeys.
So we get taxed to drive everywhere, fined for speeding
and I bet Petrol will still be taxed and we'll have to get road tax as well!!
I'll let you decide if you forward this to anyone (I have signed).

>Subject: Petition Against Government Road Pricing
>
>You have until the 20th February to petition against this ... it is real.
>
>DEMOCRACY IN ACTION
>
>The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having
>to purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to
>use it.
>
>The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC,
>the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a
>delivery driver. A non-working Mum who used the car to take the kids to
>school paid
>
>£86 in one month.
>
>On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be tracked. Somebody will
>know where you are at all times. They will also know how fast you have
>been going, so even if you accidentally creep over a speed limit in time
>you can probably expect a Notice of Intended Prosecution with your monthly
>bill.
>
>If you care about our freedom and stopping the constant bashing of the car
>driver, please sign the petition on No 10's new website (link below) and
>pass this on to as many people as possible.
>
> http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/traveltax/

I Swear this is true:

So I am off work tomorrow and I asked one of my Spanish collegues in Germany, to send any emails to my home address which you all know "pajaco".

Only to be told the following:

"By the way, you should think of changing your email address, as it does not sound very well in Spanish...It could read as Paja-Co, which is something not really nice...;)"

So naturally I asked what it meant and:

"Co = company in spanish/english
"Paja" is slang for something male teenagers do quite frequently typically with adult magazines ;)"

So basically my university login and username for just about everything I use is actually Spanish for wanking company or to put it another way a BIG WANKER....
swap two variables without using a third... BORING ALERT

I think.

Normally to swap the values in A & B you need C

e.g.

A = 5;
B = 3;
C = A; // A = 5, B = 3, C = 5
A = B; // A = 3, B = 3, C = 5
B = C; // A = 3, B = 5; C = 5

But I in my genius or total boredom came up with.

A = 5;
B = 3;
A += B;    // A = 8, B = 3
B = (A-B); // A = 8, B = 5
A = (A-B); // A = 3, B = 5

Assuming of course that the brackets get evaluated first...

And that ladies and Gentleman is....
You Just Might Be a Classic Gaming Addict If.........

You Just Might Be a Retro Gaming Addict If.........
01. Your wife is in labor and on the way to the hospital, you see a boot sale and you even think about stopping.
02. You ever considered quitting your job and getting a job at a charity store to get first pick of the games.
03. You paid more for a video game than you did for the car you are driving.
04. You can name more game programmers than Prime ministers.
05. You ever had to justify why you have 5 versions of the same game.
06. You came into possession of a time machine and you would use it to go back and get rare retro games.
07. Your game collection is worth more than your house.
08. You have more pictures of your collection than you do your children.
09. You ever went to a party and began asking people if they still had their old game systems.
10. Your family heirloom is a Vectrex collection.
11. You ever missed paying a bill to buy video games.
12. You ever rented or bought a movie, like War Games, just to see the video games in it.
13. A show called "This Old Arcade" would sound very appealing to you.
14. You would choose a weekend at Videotopia over a romantic weekend with your significant other.
15. You know the Pacman Fever album by heart.

Video Games and Society

So it looks like the control freaks now have another reason to complain about video games.

Not only do video games:

1) Teach you to pop a cap in someone's backside
2) Teach you how to have fully clothed sex
3) Teach you violence in general

But now it seems that the upcoming game Mark Eckos Getting up, which uses Graffiti and the implementation thereof as part of the game mechanic, has got DA MAN up in arms because it may cause those people who have problems differentiating fantasy from reality; you know weirdos, shut ins, generally people who share a common fear of sunlight with vampires... oh personal hygiene normally.

So as a respectable adult I am jumping on the bandwagon and I want to Ban the following video games:

1) Tetris
This game caused me to throw a brick at someone in 1986 and I got into a lot of trouble because of this,
Screw you Tetris

2) Ghosts and Goblins
Was the reason I was caught running round the forest in my pants in 1988 and was arrested for decent exposure, when I tried to explain that my armour had been smacked off by a zombie they just didn't believe me. And that was my lance hanging out thank you very much.

3) Track and Field
Turned me into a professional athlete in 1987, but I had to give it up as people kept laughing at my porno tache and tight shorts, (IT STILL HURTS DAMMIT)

4) Frogger,
In 1989 caused a 52 car pileup killing 12 people and seriously injuring 5
normally I'd have expected the car to just hit me like it does in the game.
Id get another life and the game would go on.
But NO, apparently running across the M25 at rush hour causes drivers to swerve in attempt to miss you and they drive into each other, THIS IS CLEARLY NOT MY FAULT, but I did get told off by coincidentally the same police man who arrested me in the woods in 1988 I mean jeez what are the odds of that?

5)Ms Pac-Man
in 1983 I became and compulsive eating transvestite of lemon tic-tacs and ballooned to 27 stone,
I then needed serious therapy and a lot of plastic surgery to get rid of the excess skin.
and because of the yellow food coloring in the tic tacs I did stop being yellow until 6 months later.
And how was I to know that some religions force their women to dress from head to foot in a sheet with holes for eyes. I thought she was ghost and tried to eat her!! fortunately I was so fat I only managed to run 2 meters before I fell over in a heaving lump on the floor.

6)Any Pokemon game
The Games "gotta catch em all" has turned me into a kleptomaniac to the degree that I'm even stealing stuff from myself

You see video games are evil, they teach you to do stuff you wouldn't normally do, ban them! ban them all
hey that would make a great idea for a game.

Right I'm off to steal someone's car just to listen to their radio.

well I finally went down on saturday with the lergie everyone seems to be getting.
I seem to be over the worst of it, but I just feel tired out and it's left me with a wonderful cough.
Being ill is so inconvenient =)

Last night my temperature was so high that I was half dreaming or hallucinating if you like
that I owned Atari and people were trying to get me to sell it and I didnt want to.

Thats what reading retro gaming books does to you =)

Anyway one of the reasons for popping home was to get my ass to costco's and buy some more bicycle cards,
Which I did and I managed to get shadowstone's YEY!!

I do however have one spare box I bought just in case, which is anyones for the princely some of £10
which is less than I paid but costcos do this weird thing with vat on the receipts and I cant be arsed to argue over a few pence =)

So basically if anyone wants it, give me a shout, it's first come first served though =)

Other than that I signed on again today.
and as much fun as being a gentleman of leisure is, the novely is wearing a bit thin. NO REALLY!!

But on the plus side of it all I should be down with Jo this weekend so we'll get to see you all.

Today's plan, other than feeling sorry for myself is to get some more morant park done.

Take it easy y'all
=P
